National College for Higher Education (NCHE)

The National College for Higher Education (NCHE) (or simply the National College) is a private institution of higher education in Kathmandu Nepal. The NCHE college was established in 1996 by a group of academic professionals.

As of 2022, the NCHE runs higher secondary degrees in Science, Management, and Humanities. in affiliation with Kathmandu University (KU), it also runs a Bachelor’s degree in Development Studies (BDevS) and a Bachelor’s degree in Development Finance (BDFin). NCHE also has a Centre for Development Studies, a research and development wing for conducting research and training activities.

As of 2015, NCHE’s Principal was Mr Madhav Neupane and Chairman was Dr Dal Bahadur Adhikary.

Nepal’s popular business tycoon Mr Ajay Sumargi is a major investor and shareholder of NCHE.
